Two Ways To Play

Play to Win (Competition Window)

Race against other teams in a live, high-stakes Hunt where every second counts. Solve the clues fastest, hit every location, and finish first to win cash and claim the top spot.

Play Anytime (Casual Mode)

Take on The Hunt at your own pace after the competition window —explore, solve clues, and enjoy the experience anytime. Track your time, challenge friends, and see how you stack up, all at a discounted price.

Competing for the Prize- Competition

Timer: Your initial clue guides you to a starting point and is not subject to any time constraints—once you arrive and follow the instructions to kick off the event, the timer begins, progressing through each clue (with optional breaks in between), and only restarts when you press the start button again.


The Sponsored Prize: To qualify for prizes, you must finish your hunt within the designated event competition timeframe.


Winning: The participant or team with the quickest recorded time on the leaderboard at the close of the event will claim the prize!

    The Hunt is a modern-day treasure hunt that blends digital clues with real-world locations. Players solve riddles, uncover hidden details, and race to complete the hunt in the fastest time.

  • How does The Hunt work?

    Each Hunt starts with a clue that leads you to a real location either virutally or physically. Once you find it and follow the instructions to begin, your timer starts. Every clue solved unlocks the next location or challenge until you reach the finish.

  • Is The Hunt timed?

    Yes. Your official time begins after the first location is found and you activate the Hunt. Timers pause between clues if needed, and resume when you’re ready to continue.

  • Do I need to download an app?

    No app is required. The Hunt is designed to work directly from your phone’s browser.

  • Can Kids Play?

    Yes, kids can play! However, to be eligible for the prize, participants must be over 18 years old. 

  • Can I play anytime?

    Some Hunts are live competitions with prizes and leaderboards, while others are available anytime for fun, exploration, and practice.

  • How do I win?

    In competition Hunts, the player or team with the fastest verified completion time wins. Some Hunts may also include bonus prizes or sponsor giveaways.

  • Are there prizes?

    Yes. Prize details vary by Hunt and may include cash prizes, gift cards, local sponsor rewards, discounts, or exclusive offers.

  • Can I play with friends?

    Absolutely. You can play solo or as a team depending on the Hunt rules.  You can also challenge directly in the portal. 

  • How difficult are the clues?

    Clues are designed to be fun, layered, and rewarding. Some are straightforward while others require observation, local knowledge, or creative thinking.  Each Hunt has an Easy, Medium or Hard description in each Hunt. 

  • Do I need to know the area well?

    Not necessarily. Many clues include visual hints, local storytelling, and logical connections that help guide players even if they are visiting for the first time.

  • How long does a Hunt take?

    Most Hunts can be completed in 30 minutes to a few hours depending on difficulty, travel time, and how quickly clues are solved.

  • Is driving required?

    Some Hunts are walkable while others may involve driving between locations. Each Hunt description will let you know what to expect before you start.

  • What happens if I get stuck on a clue?

    Hints may become available after a certain amount of time depending on the Hunt settings. 

  • Can businesses sponsor a Hunt?

    Yes. Local businesses can sponsor clues, offer prizes, host locations, or create branded Hunts to drive engagement and foot traffic.

  • Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

    Some Hunts require advance registration while others may allow same-day entry if spots are available.
